HP OfficeJet 6110 all-in-one

I've had the HP OfficeJet 6110 all-in-one printer for almost 3 years and still works good. I have no plan to change it. It also has the fax function. I've never used the fax until a couple days ago. I found out. It works for local fax #. But, it doesn't work if I fax to area codes out site of my own area code. Does anyone know what is the problem and how to configure it?

Make sure you're dialing a "1" in front of the long-distance number...
