Have an HP Laserjet 5P connected to a Linux box via its parallel port, but want to be able to connect it to this box and another on a network via a network card.

Is there a network card that will do the job? It would have to have a parallel connector for the printer and an RJ45 connector for the Ethernet router.

Thanks for any help!

External printer servers like the HP external jetdirects should work. There are several manufactures of print servers, but you'd need to do some investigating to determine if they are compatible with linux.

I havent seen a Jetdirect that dosent work with linux yet. Using TCP/IP of course I dont know about other protocols like IPX or Appletalk.
I use an internal JetDirect I grabbed from an auction site for 13 bucks on my HP5. Pretty much Plug and play.
