LaserJet 5 paper jam

I puchased a used Laser Jet 5 with a network card several years ago for the princely sum of 35 bucks. Recently, it has developed a pretty constant problem with a paper jam that requires opening up the back of the printer to remove the wrinkled sheet. Is there a maintenance kit to solve this jamming problem? How much will it cost, and what other types of maintenance should I look into?
