Hello,
I am having a major problem with a brand new Canon PIXMA MP830. I have installed the ink cartridges perfectly, however when I connected the power, they didn't seem to do the alignment procedure ink jet printers typically seem to do.
Now, whenever I turn the printer on, the LCD screen portrays the image:
Error Message
6305
when both connected and unconnected from my laptop. I have installed the software which came with the printer, and the computer seems to recognize it perfectly (I'm using MAC OS X Tiger........if it makes a difference).
The printer is completely frozen on the error message screen, no matter which button I hit............The "feed switch" light is also on, however I paper is loaded in the top feeder.
If anyone could give me any adive on how to solve this problem I would GREATLY appreciate.
Thanks for your time,
LR:eek::eek:
