Does anyone have this model? its a PSC, deskjet F2180
Mine just showed cartridge error. it says tri-color not properly installed. I re-inserted both black and color cartridge, still no use. I replaced both with new genuine cartridge, still no good.
now the printing is not aligned and I cannot align it coz its showing this cartridge error always. To align, it needs to scan a printout, which it always prints by the way. but when I press scan button it never scans so it never aligns coz of this error. there's no other way to align this, as there's nothing more mentioned in its manual. Also, cannot scan and print by itself. It need the PC to scan and print. still prints though but not aligned.
Is there a way to clear this error by "cold reset" or "hard reset" or even firmware change? I cleaned the contact pins several times and dismantle the printer to see if somethings wrong inside but still no use. everything looks good since this is a Brand new printer. no more than 1 week.
