I have an HP 2420 that keeps giving me a 13.05 error but the paper never makes it more than ½ inch out of the fuser rollers (about 1 inch before the rear sensor). I looked at another 2420 I have and noticed the exit rollers on the good machine spin about twice as fast as the bad machine. I’m thinking there is a controller that is not spinning the fuser gears fast enough to keep up with the others. What do you think?

Thanks in advance,

Marty

could be something wore out or not working proper with the fuser causing some slippage.try telling the printer to use a different paper type from the tray you are printing. selecting different paper types will run the paper through faster or slower depending on the type.this can also affect the fuser temp. a bit also.
