OKI c7200 Sensor Error + Loud "Chattering" Noise
I have an OKI c7200 that was working fine until this week when all of a sudden it stopped printing and started making a very loud "chattering" or grinding noise and put up a "CYAN TONER SENSOR ERROR" message. The unit has less than 10K pages total, and the type C2 Cyan cartridge had 83% toner remaining at last check before the stoppage.
I tried gently cleaning the sensor with a soft lens brush but no change, and examination of the sensor shows no apparent damage.
Anyone experience this before? Is that loud noise really because of a failed toner sensor?? (that's what is keeping me from just searching for a toner sensor; the symptom and the error message do not seem consistent with one another).
