Can ANYONE help with my Epson CX7800 All-in-One Printer?
Actually, printer & scanner work just fine ON laptop and other desktop—both have XP. My new computer has Vista and the printer works just fine on it; however, the scanner error says it “is not ready. Interface not connected.” Not only have I changed cables & USB ports, but both Epson and Dell have removed, downloaded Epson drivers for Vista OS, and a host of other things. Now they both tell me it’s the other’s problem! I’ve spent 6 hrs between the two trying to solve the problem. At some point I was told that evidently Vista is not downloading everything and the printer keeps reverting back to the old driver & hence, does not work. Any suggestions—short of buying a new printer?:(
