Have installed a PM kit, When printing from bypass, runs fine,good image, but when running from Tray 2 or 3, errors up at 31.20 and 41.5. Also, no image on paper, blank. Have looked at the registraion sensors, and look fine from view on top, not knocked out of line, etc.
Possible loose connection on engine board?

From trays 2 and 3, paper feeds and exits? and then you get a 31.20 or a 41.50?

If it prints from the MFT then the registration assembly should be ok.

Trays 2 & 3 contain plain/letter paper?
How about an engine test from 2 & 3?

We need more info. The feed rollers are seated correctly as are the pickup rollers.

Both Tray 2 and 3 have plain letter paper installed and set correctly. Feed rollers are seated correctly. I get both errors 31.20 and 41.5 on the same
"print". What has me curious is that the pages come out blank when run through Trays 2 and 3, but fine from bypass. I will try an engine test from Tray 2 and 3 .

I made a slight error in listing my error codes that I had. Instead of 31.20 and 41.5 during the same print, it was 13.20 and 41.5.
Sorry about that! All the rest of the information is correct.

The feed assy. behind the MP assy. is worn. This causes the 13 error.
The 41 error is a late paper sensor.
Chances are both the feed, and registration assy's are worn out.

sounds similiar to the other thread about the 2200. i know of someone who had this issue recently with a 2400;in that case it turned out to be an issue with the guide where it comes up from the lower trays.otherwise the feed rollers just below the registration and the registration are all tied in with this area;maybe something with one of those.

like i said on the other thread;if it started right after a maintenance kit change ,it may be related,like with the 13.20 error it sounds like it may be slipping at the feed rollers .are all the trays configured properly?especially for size.
