Laserjet 4L blank pages

Windows XP test page comes out blank. New toner cartridge does not help. Any ideas what else I can check?

Have you tried an internal test?
Press the button on the printer for a short while and then release it.

Could be any of the following or a combo:
The HVPS
Laser Shutter arm or Beam to drum Arm is broken
Transfer rololer is bad
DC Controller is broken
Corona Wire is broken

Looks like the mirror inside the scanner unit needs a clean, I have seen this problem with a 5L and I turned out to be a problem with the latach being broken on the door and laser beam being blocked, by a plastic rod so what I did is I defected the latch and it printed, but doing this there is always a risk of the inside of scanner unit becoming dirty / dusty.

Check in partsurfer of there is a part number and still avaliable.
