I recently upgraded a PC from Win2K to XP using the Windows XP CD. All appeared to be ok until I tried to connect a Lexmark T620 via the USB.
I loaded the drivers on to the Harddrive, installed them and then connected the USB cable. After the PC found the printer I got a window that stated "insert Windows 2000 CD" which I had to cancel and the printer is not installed. I have done everything that I know of to correct this but regardless of the Lexmark driver that I install, they are all downloaded from their site and run fine on other PC's, the insert Windows 2000 CD continues to appear and the printer cannot be installed.
Does anyone have any suggestions that might help?
