Replaced the toner cartridge today on a HP Laserjet8150DN and now when I print I get black pages. I went through all the settings and did a cleaning print thing but it did not help. How can I fix this? I know I got the correct toner so what is going on? Please help! Urgent! Thank you.

are they solid black pages with no white border?normally solid black pages are indicative of a high voltage power supply problem, often not charging the primary charge roller in the cartridge properly.if all you did was change the cartridge ,then i would say that it could be a bad cartridge or the contacts on the cartridge or in the slot.where when the cartridge is installed in the slot ,then the metal/copper contacts on it come up against the metal/copper contacts in the slot for the high voltage transfer.maybe the contacts are bent or dirty or something.is it a remanned cartridge or brand new hp?if you have the other cartridge and there is enough toner for even a page or two, then try to swap it back in and see if it does it.or check the contacts.
