While on the search for GENICOM 8920 drivers, i was told and found a couple times online that i could use the IBM ProPrinter drivers. I was instructed to set the printer emulation to proprinter. Is anyone here familiar with setting printer emulation settings? or would you know where i can get the drivers for the GENICOM 8920 printer

The Genicom 8900 line was originally made by Texas Instruments. Good printer. I was unable to find any drivers for this model on the Legacy website for TallyGenicom. You should be able to select a Generic Text only driver from Windows and it will work with the default ANSI emulation.
The printer could also be set into Epson or IBM Proprinter mode and driven using the EPSON FX-100 or IBM Propinter driver. I have changed the emulation on this printer before, through the front panel and could probably fumble through it with you over the phone. Feel free to call me 800-832-3154. Ask for Paul.
