In our office we currently use an Epson LQ-630 printer to print on to tickets. These tickets have got fields printed onto them and the Dot Matrix printer is set to print into these fields. For some reason this has stopped working now and hasnt worked for quite some time. I was wondering if anyone knew any applications that i could set to make the printer print into the desired areas?

1)If side-to-side alignment is off,move the tractors.
2)If items are spaced wrong, try different fonts(from printer control panel).
3) If forms aren't fed to the right position, reset your top-of-form.Instructions are in the user's manual which is available at the maker's web site.caution:If the knob is turned while the printer is turned on,it will mess up your top-of-form setting.

What does the o/p look like when you print a ticket?
Like Strider says...make sure TOF is set correctly. Lines per inch (6 or 8lpi) has to be set. Lines per page also.
If you don't have a print out of the configuration, when it last printed good, you will have a lot of playing around to do to get it corrected.
Assuming it's not a hardware problem and you get the setup right and the tickets print good...print out the working setup and tape it to the printer.
