the 59.9 error on a 4600 usually refers to an ETB motor error.you could check out the contacts(some copper contacts along the right side of the ETB);there is also a plug on the right side about halfway down and a plastic tab should be sticking out of the inside, right side below the plug .it slots into a thin notch on the printer.the plug halfway down plugs in with the plug on the ETB.it's possible that the plug on the printer or etb can go bad,but not likely.also, you can go into the diagnostics menu and scroll to component test, then down to the ETB motor test.it may prompt you to take out one or more cartridges, usually you would then open and close the door to cycle the door switch, then run the test.you can run tests for the other motors and components also if you need to.how old is the ETB?it may need replacing.the ETB motor is in the ETB unit itself,in the upper right corner.you can remove 3 screws there and take the cover of it off if you need to.if you take the covers off and over ride the door switch, you can see if the ETB motor is running through the grill on the side of the ETB.there is also a rather large rectangle button on the outside of the ETB that needs to be pushed in;normally ,when the outside cover is closed against the ETB it pushes this button in.the last time i had this error pop up;it was that that button was'nt pushing in.in a worst case scenario,it could be an issue with the dc controller or a power supply,or the main motor or the plugs that connect them.
