Have installed and reinstalled hardware and software for my HP pcs 2210 all-in-one. It APPEARS to be operating properly (online), but will simply not print. Not from notepad - nothin', although it appears to be communicating properly (two-way) with the computer. When I attempt to print, the doc. goes into queue, printer fires up, and out comes a blank page; no error, as if it THINKS it did it's job. The weirdest part is my ability to print a perfect test page from the control panel, flawless.
It also scans just fine.
So far I have: changed the USB cables and ports - updated any and all drivers that I could find - tested w/ my laptop (worked fine) - disabled the firewall/antivir - prayed to Jesus, Allah, Buddha and the easter bunny.
Is there something I'm missing?

Please help me?!?

I'm assuming that you are running a windoze OS.
Unplug the USB cable from the printer, power up PC.
After booting is completed and you log on, plug in the USB cable to the printer.

Do you get a new hardware found msg?
If you print a test page from PC, does it also come out blank?

Your statement about the laptop screwed up my theory about the USB port on the printer being bad.

Yeah:
I'm running XP Pro.
I get a "found hrdwr"

Nope:
Test page is immaculate, as is the self-test page.
But notepad, Word, everything else is just blank. In advanced I tried setting "direct to printer" and still nothing. I wish I were getting an error msg.

Maybe some witchcraft?
