need to find out how to obtain a page count for the HP1000
I have tried thru a driver suite but without success

thehp1000 in question is direct and not on a network.

Unless you've counted the pages as they passed through the printer, your guess is as good as anybody else's.

Hint: the toner cartridge is good for about 2.5K sheets.

thank for the hint. wasn't aware of its lifespan. my employer has contracted to service 75 or so HP's and 2 of them are 1000s. we bill by page count. sounds like we may need to bill for them differently.
