make a program compatible with zebra zp 500 thermal label printer

I just recieved a thermal label printer and it doesn't work with the program that I need it to because the printer is to new. Instead of waiting for the software to get an update is there a way to get this printer to work with the program like installing a generic driver etc.

This is why God invented programmers. Here's how it works, you call one up, tell him what you need, he asks a few questions, you answer them , he gives you a price and a delivery date. You agree, you wait a week or 2,you get your new driver, everyone is happy.
