Hi,

I have an HP 5100 from which occasionally is printed two copies of part of a document that exists on our network. The last time this happened we had disconnected the printer from the network as we suspected that the problem was inside the printer itself as we could find no external entry in any relevant event log.

Could it be something to do with the flash storage? We have never (knowingly) used any internal storage in this printer. In fact we are still not sure if it has any although this problem does point to something being stored somewhere inside the printer.

This appears to be happening randomly roughly once per day. As it is printing about 30 pages this is an appreciable drian on resources.

Odd stuff! Hey, it's HP! You might try to flash the firmware of the NIC, through WebJet Admin. The 3mb storage may be corrupt, replace.
