Hi All,
will admit to using non Canon black ink recently, £1.99 as against £9.00 for the Canon, and have 'damaged' printhead or so it would seem by the 5 flashes of the warning LED. I have seen the cost of a printhead, over £50 and have tried cleaning the head with various solutions, meths, Epson head clean solution, but to no avail. Is my only option now a new printhead assembly or an iPAX 4300 ? I think they take the same ink cartridges (yes I bought the Canon originals after this problem). Hope you can advise.
