Hp LaserJet 3800

Hi,
On the Laser Jet 3800, whenever a colour document is printed it prints a line of magenta across the bottom of the colour. Also magenta forms a line across the top of white area's.

I have cleaned all cartridges and rotated the belt and everything else, but the problem still persists.

Does anyone know what might be causing this.

Have you run the cartridge test?

Yeah i've run the cartridge test. i've run basically every test in the diagnostics.

This is an inherant problem on these units. Are these HP toners?
Check to see if toners are past expiration date. Yes, there is a shelf life, and you have to be wary of suppliers not providing the most recent products. Demand replacement for out of date, and/or damaged toners.
The ETB may be pst its prime, and not cleaning properly.
Have you a supplies page? This will tell you the state of all consumables.
Replace the Magenta toner.
