Hello,

When I print with the LJ 6L, a blank page (with the only text "s1M") is always printed before each job. What is the reason and how to disable this ?

I have also a problem with the paper tray. When it is not full, the printer will feed multiple sheets (as many as 10) through for each printed page.
How can I solve this problem ?

Thanks a lot.

The separation pad is worn out that's why you are getting the multiple feeds. The other issue is communications related. Try reinstalling your printer drivers on the computer.

Thank you for the reply.
I have reinstalled the driver with no change.
Is it possible to replace the separation pad ?
I hope that it is not too expensive.

Replacing the separation pad isn't too difficult for an experienced technician, you do have take the printer apart pretty far, it takes me 15 minutes but it can be tricky if you've never done it before.

Did you try to download the latest driver? The driver your reinstalling might be corrupt. Make sure all programs are closed before reinstall. What I do is go to Task Manager and close everything except SYSTRAY & EXPLORER. Then do reinstall.
