2430 jamming on drawer 3

I'm training to be a tech and today received a call about their HP 2430 jamming on drawer 3.

I was told to check the paper feed, clean the rollers, and make sure all parts are attached. Is there anything else to look for?

Each tray has a separation pad. If too worn, replace.

You need to check the shaft that hooks to the main feed roller. I have found quite a few of these broken. Look for the break where it splits to fit on the pickup roller itself.

Thanks for the help,problem turned out to be a sticker stuck in the paper path.
