Laserjet 6mp cable options for Windows

I just inherited a 6mp which was used with a Mac. I have a new Dell Laptop with USB or Parallel port input. Can someone let me know what cable would be best to buy for the 6mp. It looks like it has 3 output ports: I am guessing one is a parallel, one is a serial, and the other looks like a pin connector of some type, similar to what I have seen some older mouses.

If it were me, I would go with the parallel cable. Just seems more reliable to me and all printers have that port as far as I know.
