Deskjet 1120C Cartridge won't move

I have a printer that the cartridge won't move and it has a clunking sound as if the wheel is trying to connect to the other wheel and cannot connect the teeth. Is it worth trying to tear it apart and see or should I just buy a new color printer. I don't know how to tear it down either, does anyone have a manual or a site that I can go to on how to tear this printer apart?

Do you uh,,tear apart stuff very often? It's a relatively cheap unit, and the problem sounds like the service station is full of ink, stopping it's movement.
