Hello new to the forums, I have a Laserjet 2100 I bought used about 2 years ago. It currently has about 43,000 pages on it, and I'm starting to get faint black lines going across the width of the page, theres about 3 or 4 of these lines. I haven't tried cleaner sheets yet, as I don't know which is better to run through the printer dry or wet. Do the lines usually mean dirty rollers, or can it be something more serious?

Also I'm getting some squeaks as the paper is feeding out, can the rollers be oiled?

Thanks in advance to any suggestions

Hi,

rollers in my opinion, but could be drum as well. I'd suggest running some tests before taking further action.

Replace toner for the lines. Check fuser for worn out film. Replace.
Fuser or toner causing the squeeks.
