HP2430 (hp2400) Blank Pages

Have an HP2430 that Prints BLANK pages. Cartridge is good, high voltage contacts clean in mach and on cartridge....Shutter is opening on laser....Still leaning toward laser unit. Any ideas? thanks, Jon L.

when you print more than 1 page, do they all come blank, or some of them are normally printed?

Every single page is blank! Whether you're printing a config page, or a ppr path test, or from a computer- doesn't matter ALL BLANK. I removed the laser and the shutter is operating correctly, also the hi voltage contacts on the left side are actuating normally.

And,,,you know the toner is good how? HP, or 3rd party?
If you have worked on it did you replace the transfer roller?
Re-seat the configuration chip, and any dimms.
Are fans running? Engine test?

Classic case of the laser shutter not opening. At least a very good possibility. Some have a spring that helps control the opening and closing of the shutter. Check it out. You will need to take the laser out to check it properly.
