HP Laserjet 4050 blank link on right side of page

I have changed the fuser assembly and the cartridges....I see on the old assembly build up where it created the line....But with the new one and a new cartridge it still prints that blank line all the way down the page...any ideas?

Try cleaning the slot in the black plastic inside the printer above where the cartridge goes.That is where the laser comes through to expose the drum in the cartridge.In a laser printer,the only parts of the drum that attract toner are the spots that the laser has hit.
