Laserjet 5Si wandering margin

Hi All,
using the inbuilt test function when I generate 10 test pages (from trays 2 or 3) the first one seems fine but all subsequent pages have a margin that wanders. The output of this printer comes out side on. Anyone got any ideas what is happening. Thanks.
