The OEM network adapter was damaged yesterday while a lady at my office was changing the toner cartridge. She pulled the printer out from the wall, and as the cable was plugged in tight, the port in which the cable plugs was ripped off the PCI adapter.

I purchased a new PCI adapter yesterday at Best Buy, Dynex DX-E101. I have plugged the ethernet cable back in, and LEDs are showing connectivity to network. I re-installed the most updated driver from IBM, and connected the printer to the appropriate IP address, but am unable to print to the device.

Technical support will not assist me. A coworker said that IBM may have a proprietary network adapter and that this Dynex card may not work. Is there a way to configure this Dynex card to work with the printer? Is there something I am missing?

Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help!!!
