HI,
Does anyone know if its possible to get the belt without the entire assembly? The assembly prices from $120-150,The belt would be a lot cheaper by itself.
Thank you,
ANDY

Not advisable! The cost of color printing is just what it is. If you are going to get cheap, you will get cheap results! Use a print shop.

HI,
I was not trying to be cheap,I have a customer with this printer and I was trying to buy the belt only so I could save the customer a few dollars, while at the same time I would be able to make a few more dollars myself. After 30 years servicing faxes, copiers and printers you try to get an edge when possible, especially since the internet arrived on the scene everyone has access to the whole world. they go online and check prices making it hard for the serviceman to make profits like in the glory years before the inernet.I like the technology of the new order, but I long for the time when you were able to make money on supplies and service.

Sorry! Did not mean to be so testy, I am a Sr. tech, and Depot Mgr., and going from a lowly IIP to a 9500MFP to a Xerox, or IBM. is daunting to say the least. This is all day, too! It would be a tough job to change just the belt,if you could get it. I have the luxury of 10,000 parts on the shelves, and mostly contract customers. Im just a bit spoiled I guess.
I agree with you that helping to save the customer a few $$ is great relations. Sometimes the fix costs nothing, but for the bench fee, I still put effort in cleaning, and overall conditioning. Bye, MichaelTech
