When the duplexer is plugged it, the message BAD DUPLEXER CONNECTION appears, and the duplexer exhaust fan does not run.
On pressing the "check button" the message BAD LOCID -12013 appears, followed by the instruction to remove the duplexer. There appear to be no further hints on the LCD screen as to the source of the problem, and this error condition is not addressed in my copy of the 4350 Service Manual.
When the duplexer is unplugged, the printer operates satisfactorily.
Is there an order of check-out and solution to determine the cause of the error message:
>Wrong duplexer
>Bad board or wiring in duplexer
>Problem with printer such as fuser
>Other problems?
Thanks all,
