I want to connect a laptop and a pc to one printer physically. That is to say with some sort of cable or twin cable or a device that splits one printer cable to go to 2 computers. I do not want to connect the printer/computers by networking, and have been told the networks are not compatible at any rate.

Is such a cable/device available? I've asked a few people in stores and gotten no where.

You can get an A/B parallel cable switch box.

Also a USB A/B switch box, if your printer has USB connectors. I use the USB cables between my pcs and printer.
