HP Laserjet 6L Transfer Roller

I'm trying to replace a transfer roller in my 6L. There are two black arms that go over the shafts at each end of the roller. How you do unlock those, so I can pop the old one out, and then put the new one back in?

The transfer roller and the guide that covers it are easy to pop out but if you are talking about a shaft that has two black arm then you are most likely looking at the Pickup roller assembly.
This assembly has gear on one side, to remove it you'll have to open the printer and remove a few other assemblies and parts, not recommended for a novice.
