color laserjet 5 54.4 error

hi, i just recently moved this printer, and got a 54.4 error. it worked fine for 2 years, and after i moved it to new location, i got this error.

i have tried:
removing jet direct card
removing memory
checking if printer is level
changing power sources/wall outlets.

what next?

Howdy. This is a Cam home position sensor error.
Open the top cover and look for a tab that activates the interlock switch. This is for the door closed/open signal.It is to the right, and below the black developer, and is part of the developer drive assy.
Tab may be bent or broken.
The cam home sensor may be sticking.
Do you get motor sound? There are a lot of voltage check to do on these, and as they are definitely EOL, consumables alone would be more than a new color printer.

i'll take a look for the tab, i couldn't find it before.
so, as i'm looking at the front of the printer, when it's open, i know where the black developer is, i just can't seem to find it.

assuming it's done for, is there another color laser printer out there with cheap consumables? i'm paying less than $20.00 for all 4 toners, which seem to last forever.......i don't really care about speed as the laserjet 5 is quite slow...
i previously owned a minolta pageworks 25 which was a nightmare..

fixed! tab wasn't lining up properly. i will be running this sucker till i can get no more parts..

when it does die, i am looking for a color laser that is as affordable to run if anyone has any suggestions...

i think this model of laserjet really suck, the color laserjet 4500, 4550 or 4600 is much better printer and more features.

keep using till it dies and consider one of those.
