Phaser 860 Part

Did a lamp replacement on the pre-heater.
When we put back together we got a "Paper Jam - Open front cover" error
all the sensors seem clear and plugged in...but

We found this sitting in the bottom of the printer:

We cannot find a reference for it in any of the service manuals, Anybody have an idea of what it is..and where it goes?

This is the lock for the right maintenence tray guide.
Move the printhead over to the left, and remove one screw at the front of the right guide.
Carefully push the guide back, and then out. The two tangs slip into slots on the frame. This part goes in the end of the guide with the point down. There is a pin it sits on.
