Printer does not turn on

I got an HP LaserJet 4050 and it rain last week and it get wet, now it does not turn on. Well it turn on but inmediatly it turn off.

There's probably still water in the printer. Suggest you take out the toner cartridge, open all covers and remove drawers and then let a fan blow on it infront of a sunny window for at least a day. Do not turn it on until its completly dry or you could dammage the electronics.

Sorry for picking but How do you get Rain on your Laser Printer, it is not exactly a Small portable printer.

did you already try and power it up before drying it out thoroughly.

Hey guys,
I just went thru the hurricane here in Southern Florida and was without electricity for two days.

When I powered everything up tonigh, the printer would not go on. No lights, nothing.

I checked the power cord and socket and it is ok.

Any ideas????

:) I Believe There Is A Reset Button On The Back Of The 4l You Can Press It With A Paper Clip Hold For 20 Sec To Reset
