I don't have the duplexer on my 4000N, but want to print back to back. Is there a way to print only the odd numbered pages, then load them back into the printer and print the even numbered pages?

Sounds like something where you would have to leave a blank page in software. Also note that when you re-feed printed paper in to the printer you can get a small amount of toner rubbing off on pickup/feed rollers. After a while that can cause marks on the paper. If you are printing over 1,000 page this way you might just consider a duplexer.

I have to agree with Jeff that re-feeding printed paper into the printer can cause problems, but if you do still want do go ahead with printing on both sides there is a way ito do this if you are used Microsoft products like Word.
If you give the print command you can select the pages you want to print, putting 1,3,5,7 etc. in the box will print all the odd pages first.
