Hi all,

I have a 8150 on our network which has different types of headed letter paper in each tray. What use to happen when a tray ran out of paper the prints would carry on spooling but wouldn't print, e.g. a message would appear on screen asking for paper in whatever tray.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

It would help if you would tell us what is happening now that you don't like. All you told us is what printer you have and what it used to do.

Sorry thought it was clear.

The printer would basically stop printing if the destination tray it required to print to had ran out of paper.

What happens now is that the printer will print to the next available tray.

Thanks.

Print a config page and check that the trays are set up correctly.

Check through the driver properties. Aomething may have been changed, and not set back. Users are like that, really they are!
