Deskjet 2500C

[Oyster Man]

Have a 2500C deskjet and was getting faulty print head replaced then stated the next was bad so replaced all of them and still get same message and unit will not print. Any ideas on this would be welcomed gratefully as I really do not know anything about this printer

Make sure the contacts are clean where the print cartridges engage. Cotton swab with alcohol works well.

Your problem is from the print carriage being loose. Seat the p-heads firmly downward. I usually blow on the contact before installing.

The inks can also be a problem. Try wiggling them when their seated.

The cost of these print mechs has doubled, so I have to re-furb them best I can. End of life! move on to newer, cheaper, throw-away units!
