HP6P Envelope printing problem.

I have a HP-6P printer and I'm using Windows XP Pro with Word for Windows 2000.

When I specify a custom envelope size in the envelope printing function, the printer dosent seem to accept the proper envelope sixe change, and as a result the envelope
address and return address is printed in the wrong area of the envelope, often most of the printing is off the envelope.

Could this be a printer problem or software related. If it's the printer do you have a fix for the problem?

Probably not a printer problem. Although I've never tried custom envelope sizes on a 6P you might want to try both HP and Microsoft drivers.
