hi
my hp laserjet 4550 has been acting up lately; before, when i print, it alwys defaults to print from the tray 2 instead of tray 1 (where u feed envelopes, etc...); now everytime i send a print job, it says no paper in tray 1 and choose executive size or something like that or not; if i press select or go, then it will print, but i dont know why it does that
so now i have to put paper on the first tray which is more prone to paperjams; is there a way to fix that? i read the manual and tried changing the paper handling option of tray 1 to cassette instead of first and it still didnt work
also, i 'm on windows 2000 pro; often i notice in event viewer of a warning that my driver has been updated; but i recently downloaded the newest driver from the hp site; it's color laserjet 4550 PCL6
