HP 3330 Document Feeder grabs multiple pages

My HP 3330 multi-function printer, copier, scanner, fax has one problem. When I put a stack of pages on the document feeder, it pulls them into the printer one at a time, until I get close to the bottom of the stack, then it pulls in multiple sheets at one time.

Has anyone experienced this, and do you know how to adjust the printer to eliminate the problem? Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the printer, actually I have one in my garage. I never looked at it, but if it's like all the others...it needs a separation pad.
Try to clean it, otherwise replace it

The rollers are actually 2 rollers and a bracket

Replace them, it will make all the difference
