LaserJet 8000N 13.3 paper jam error

We have a laserjet 8000n that keeps getting a paper jam when printing from tray 2-3 (13.3 error). Tray 1 works fine. Per the advice of someone else, we replaced the paper pickup assembly and still have the same error.

The paper gets picked up, and jams right on the right side door..

Any Suggestions?:confused:

this is a common problem with these devices there are a couple of small clutches that turn the pick up rollers that after time start to slip if you have acess to parts try replacing the "tray 2-3 input assy" it is about a 30 min job as it replaces most of the rhs of the device.

im assuming the paper pickup assy you speek of was just the rollers?

Actually this was the entire tray 2-3 assembly including rollers. Was definitely a 30 min job at least.:cool:
