I have a 4 years old LaserJet 3300 All-in-one. Around 50 000 pages printed with no problem.

It started printing incorrectly a couple days ago. I changed the cartridge with no results.

Here are some scans of two printed demo pages :

Example 1 (http://www.chaincase.com/example1.png)
Example 2 (http://www.chaincase.com/example2.png)

There is also some small toner traces on the back of the paper.

Any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks!

Looks very much like the Fuser isn't fixing properly.
Can you rub of the image after it has come out the printer?

Yes.

Also I forgot to mention that the problem appeared slowly. Sometimes it could print no problem for 10-20 pages and then bang, this problem.

Now, however, it does this every single page. :(

It is the fuser for sure, it needs replacing.

Thank you for your help.

I have the fuser in my hands. Anything I can do/try before I trash it?

Printer was in use at work and was given to me instead of going to the trash can. My time is worth nothing when I work on this at home but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay >100$ for a replacement fuser.

Thank you again.

I'm afraid the fuser will need replacing.
