Frequent Printer Pauses HP 3055

When I print out tax returns (Lacerte Tax Software--Intuit) my new printer will pause after several pages and then resume again. It really slows down the time to print out a complex tax return. I don't have the same problem printing out a long WP file. I checked for a new driver with HP but I have the latest. I checked with Lacerte/Intuit and they said to try a different driver but could not suggest another? Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you updated your operating system with the newest service packs...
Some of the new printers require a certain service pack to be installed before running properly.
If your running Windows then go to their site and get an update for your O/P

Not a tech but I have heard this before it might help.
