The paper from tray 2 stops feeding when it reaches the manual feed path. The user is able to use the manual feed tray for now. The model is a HP 4100N and I could use some advice as I am very new to printer repair. Any help would be very Welcome

Dose the printer also make a large squeeking/squaunking noise?
You will need to remove the manual feed tray assembly and check for obstructions. If there are none, my guess is that your printer has well over 100,000 copies on it and you will need to replace the "paper feed assembly". NOT to be confused with the "paper pick-up assembly". Very common as the machines get to higher page counts. Hope this helps, Jim :)
