HP AC Power adapter. How to install it in printer

Just received a power supply for an HP 4M+ laserprinter. The power supply is part #0957-2340 and is called a universal power supply adapter. It is a black box with a cable coming out one end - with a jack-type plug on the end of the cable. At the other end of the power supply is an input for an AC cable. The box measures 2" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" high. I have no idea where this fits inside the printer and how it connects to the printer. Came with no installation instructions.

Has anyone had experience installing this power supply?

You received the wrong part. 0957-2340 is not a power supply for the LaserJet 4MPlus, that is a power supply adaptor for an inkjet printer and similar. (The part you received is basically just a wall plug with a power adaptor, it is not the internal power supply for a laser printer, not sure why your vendor sent you that.)
