Default HP P2055dn Stuck on Initializing

I have a HP P2055dn printer and it won't startup. When I turn it on, the message is stuck on Initializing... and both led's are blinking. Help!

Most likely you have a bad formatter board. I have had success in baking these boards 4 for 4 with this type of issue. some say this is not a good method but many others swear by it. remove board from printer remove any optional chips and the plastic chip cover if present, ball up a little bit of aluminum foil for standoffs on the corners so the board is not touching the pan make sure the components are facing up, bake at 325 degrees for 8 minutes.

No guarantees but if the board is already dead it can't hurt. You can google baking formatter board a see many results for many different HP formatters.

On this particular model , a failing fuser will also do this.
