    Question Laserjet 5000n

I work at a school. The journalism dept uses an HP laserjet 5000n to print their yearbook pages to check the layout. They use a lot of graphics and fonts.
What happens is the printer button for processing data will blick for a long time and nothing will come out. We cancel the job and a few pages will print that are hours old. What could be causing it to hold a job so long.
Fonts? Size? We have the maximum memory installed in the printer.
She printed to an Hp 4050 for a while and then the same thing started happening.
    Thank you

I've seen large graphically intensive print jobs cause wierd things to happen at the printer. You might try using a postscript driver and see if that helps.
